More than a frame shop…

Our sweet shop has been in business for 34 years and in 2020 we got a re-vision. Jay and Tina, owners and founders, retired and the shop is now in the hands of Becca Rainey, their daughter. Becca grew up in the shop, making mountains out of matboard and selling lemonade out front. She worked in the shop in high school and when home from college. Becca’s time in this space, learning from her parents, has made her the ‘maker’ she is today.

For the last 17 years Becca has poured her heart and creativity into education, as a classroom teacher and an elementary librarian. She feels there’s a kinship between addressing the needs of individual students and meeting the needs of individual customers. Becca promises to pay attention and listen to your preferences when it comes to framing your special items. She aspires to continually curate a collection of hand-crafted art and goods, created by a diverse group of artisans and craftspeople, along with antique and vintage pieces. As a lifelong learner, Becca will apply that curiosity to the craft of picture framing, staying informed about conservation and archival mounting and innovations in the industry. Her priority will be to make you feel heard and to help you find a custom frame job that will memorialize the importance of what you are framing or a hand-crafted piece that makes your heart feel full.

“I believe that our homes should be safe havens in an often busy and chaotic world. Our shop is a safe haven for all, a place you can come to take a deep breath, find new hand-crafted treasures and honor your visual memories with the custom frame job they deserve. Come in. Have a cup of tea. Enjoy the calm and find something that inspires you. We are here to help you create a home you love. “ - Becca Rainey, owner
